Went to Garden Lifestyle Store & Cafe in Mid Valley last Friday to celebrate a colleague’s farewell.

I have always wanted to go as the interior looks really nice but was always after good food instead of nice place so did not really bothered to try. Finally went there and even the glasses used were very nice. Basically a very girlish place with flowers and all things sweet

I like it and the food was not bad too. But I did not bother having any expectations. I had Grilled Black Pepper Chicken Chop.

Later, we ordered potato wedges, which as good. Normal. And fried chicken, which was not so good as it didn’t look fresh. Cooked but reddish inside.

Wouldn’t mind going back just for fun but to go back just for the food, not really…

Anyway, the farewell was for this noisy girl Geline.

Now I won’t have someone who’s noisier than me at the office

We will all miss you!

It was raining heavily this morning when my alarm rang at 6am. I never liked to get up from my bed on a rainy day. I just love the sound raindrops falling on the roof. It’s my lullaby. Naturally with eyes barely opened, I picked up my phone to reset my alarm to 6.25am, snuggled under my quilt, hug my favourite pillow, took a deep breath and sunk my cheeks unto the pillow. Mmm…nice.

When the alarm went off again at 6.25, I still wished I didn’t have to wake up for work. Saw a good morning message from the boyfriend saying it’s raining and he wants to sleep. Here goes the conversation:

The boyfriend: Morning darl. Damn it’s raining! I want to sleep!!!

Me: I want to stay in bed…morning…hugss

The boyfriend: Is there a public holiday we don’t know about today?

Me: LOL

The boyfriend: Can I bring my quilt to work?

Me: Can you please call my boss and tell him I can’t go to work coz I’m allergic to rain?

The boyfriend: Oh shit! You too???!!!

Welcome to my life. Everyday there are some silly conversations going on :p

This promotion caught my eye when it was sent to my work mail. No not because of the place or the food but:

“A SLICE OF CAKES”

“PAN SEALED SCALLOP”?

Hmm…Unacceptable mistake for an advertisement no?

A little entertainment on my work day though.

At work…

Me: *aHcHOO!*

The boss: Bless you.

Me: Thanks

The boss: Do you know that every time you sneeze, you lose ten brain cells?

Me: Hmm…Then I must be really stupid. LOL!

On the other hand when I start thinking about it, since I have been sneezing so much all my life (sensitive nose) and am still not stupid yet (I hope). I must have a lot of brain cells :p
