Husband’s organ donor is wife’s lover

Posted by dawn On January - 5 - 20104 COMMENTS

When I visited The Star online this morning, this title caught my eye…and my jaw. I was like WhOA…

This Singaporean businessman has had kidney problems for over two years. And one fine day, his wife told him there’s a friend who would be willing to donate one of his kidneys to him.

He later found out that not only the wife was sleeping with his kidney donor BUT had a son whose biological father was ALSO the donor.

The man said, “The man saved my life, but took away my wife”.

But I am amazed that the lover would risk his life for this man. Well, the lover already took away the wife regardless. So I guess saving his life was a bonus as he could have lost both life and wife.

Just what I think. What do YOU think?

Christmas Isn’t Christmas

Posted by dawn On January - 4 - 20101 COMMENT

Well, well, well…

When everyone is busy talking about resolutions. I am finally back to bomb you with a very long post! :)

Well, that’s the plan at least. But I can assure you, they’ll be loads of pictures =)

BUT it is about Christmas. One of my favourite Christmas song is Christmas isn’t Christmas, which explains the title coz just writing ‘Christmas’ as the title…doesn’t seem so interesting :p

Christmas Eve

Went for dinner with family and headed straight to church. There was a choir performance half an hour before mass starts. And half of my family members were singing in it:

Yea all those in white tops and black bottoms.

This is just the poser to decorate the Whites/Blacks. hehe.

After that headed to Leonard’s with sis for party ‘dinner’. Yummy food, funny company. Nice.

Christmas Day

I slept and slept…uh oh…what else did I do? Oh yes! BBQ dinner and monopoly (I don’t like the game, but bro likes it and it’s Christmas) thereafter.

30th Christmas visit to sis’s

Part 1 Fun

Yup, so we went to visit my eldest sis on 30th. We had a good time. I shall let the pictures do the talking.

Yup! They had a BUBBLE MACHINE! Which does not only produce bubbles but lots of cheer and laughter. I wonder why but some things just tickles everyone’s heart. Or perhaps it’s the Christmas mood.

This is sooooooo cute. We were trying to teach him (nephew number 2, Eldon) to burst the bubbles.

Zach and Amber (niece number 1) watching the bubbles float away and shouting ‘Wow! That’s a survivor!’ when the bubbles go further than expected. So funny! HAHA.

Wind + Bubbles = SMILES…..

Mum wants to join too! :)

The bubbles maker. :p

Part 2 Fun

*I wanna vacuum!*

Guama feeding him banana…

so cute…

too cute!

Watching Mickey and Friends with Daddy.

OK OK. So part two fun was mostly MY FUN. My fun taking pictures of the cute fella. He’s too cute isn’t he??? Gosh! Someone keeel me…SO CUTE! :)

Part 3 Fun

All excited to go to the playground.

For a three year old. Pretty tough guy there ;)

oopss..can’t resist. hehe.

The kids can REALLY play.

Oh me too :) Signing off on my favourite playground equipment/toy. Um whatever you call it!

Have a great 2010!
